Seanan McGuire Event Thursday Afternoon

ConQuesT 47’s toastmaster, Seanan McGuire, will read from and discuss her award-winning science fiction and fantasy books at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at the North Independence Branch of the Mid-Content Public Library, 317 W US Highway 24, Independence, MO.

McGuire’s latest book is “Every Heart a Doorway”. Seanan won the 2010 John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer.  Her novel Feed (as Mira Grant) was named as one of Publishers Weekly’s Best Books of 2010.

McGuire is also the author of the October Daye urban fantasies, the InCryptid urban fantasies, and several other works both stand-alone and in trilogies or duologies. She also writes under the pseudonym “Mira Grant.”
